Organoleptic:
Bright gold colour. Lush, ripe and savory, delicate aromas of citrus, toast, and vanilla on the nose and palate. Medium acidity, long and pleasant aftertaste.
Food pairing:
A wide variety of Greek seafood 'Meze', Greek Salad 'horiatiki', risotto mushrooms.
Served at 10 - 11 °C.
Origin:
Markopoulo, Mesogeia-Attica. North facing old vines, non-irrigated.
Altitude: 80-100m.
Soil: Varied, dominated by limestone and clay.
Harvest: Mid-September. Yield: 30 - 35 hl/he.
Age of vines: 60 years (average).
Agriculture: Mild.
Vinification:
Fermentation in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature of 16-18 °C. Acidity: 5.2 g/L TA, Residual sugar: 1.2 g/L.
