Organoleptic:
Gentle, yellow-green colour. Intense aromas of gooseberry, mango, fresh-cut grass and citrus. Rich, cool and beautifully balanced flavour, pleasant acidity and a lasting, fragrant aftertaste.
Food pairing:
A perfect match for Mediterranean dishes, seafood, poultry, light-sauced pasta dishes and fresh vegetable salads. Served at 8-10 °C.
Origin:
The privately owned organic vineyard at the foot of Pangeon, Kokkinohori village, Kavala, Northeastern Greece. Altitude: 380m.
Soil: rocky, barren, limestone, clayey.
Harvest: Mid-August. Yield: 50-60 hl/he.
Age of vines: 20 years (average).
Agriculture: Organic.
Vinification:
Typical white wine vinification techniques. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature. Acidity: 7.35 g/L TA, Residual sugar: 2.83 g/L.
