The single organic vineyard of Mylopotamos monastery at Mount Athos, Halkidiki, northern Greece. Altitude: 5m - 100m. Soil: sandy clay. Harvest: Early September. Yield: 50-60 hl/ha.
Age of vines: 17 years(average).
Agriculture: Organic.
Vinification:
Classic vinification process for red wines in controlled temperatures. Ageing in French oak barrels for 12 months. Acidity: 5.6 g/L, Residual sugar: 2.6 g/L.
